Core Booster 2.2: Power Up PDFs with Custom Content and Image Choices

Core Booster 2.2 logo. The Gravity PDF logo is positioned above the text. The Core Booster extension's rocket logo appears on the right side of the image.

The Core Booster extension gets better with every update, and v2.2 is no exception. We’re introducing two powerful features that provide more control over your Core and Universal Gravity PDF-generated templates. Let’s take a look…

Image Choices: A Visual Delight

A screenshot of a PDF document showing a pizza restaurant order form. There are images of each choice selected by the customer, including a main, side, and drinks.

With Gravity Forms 2.9 adding native support for image choices, it’s only fitting that Core Booster makes it easy to display those images in your PDFs. You can even choose the image size, and whether to display all available image choices in the document (or only the user selected choices)!

While a dedicated field for image choices is fantastic, the Jetsloth team have been rocking a plugin that adds image choice support to existing Radio, Checkbox, Product, Option, and Quiz/Survey fields for a long time. Not to be left out, Core Booster now fully supports Jetsloth’s powerful image choice extension for your PDFs.

PDFs: Your Canvas for Creativity

A screenshot showing the Introduction PDF rich text setting with merge tags and images shown. An arrow points from the settings page to a PDF document. The PDF shows the Introduction text with Gravity Forms data in place of the tags.

Ever wanted an easy way to add rich text and images directly to your PDFs? With the new Custom Content feature, you can display information before the form title or any of the fields are shown – including merge tags and shortcodes. To push the limits even further, you can remove all fields and output everything from the Custom Content setting. It’s powerful stuff!

Under the Hood

We’ve made several under-the-hood improvements to enhance your PDF generation experience. These include refining CSS styling options, optimizing the field selector feature, and preparing for future features in the core Gravity PDF software.
