We’ve just published Gravity PDF 6.11 which has been tested and is fully-compatible with the forthcoming WordPress 6.6 release.
Along with WordPress support, this release focuses on improving how and when notices are displayed in the admin area – especially when Gravity PDF’s server or software requirements are not met. If a Gravity PDF requirement isn’t met, an admin notice with detailed information will only be shown to users who can activate plugins on the website. Other users now receive a generic error asking them to contact the site administrator. We also resolved a bug that prevented these notices from being translated with the language files bundled.
To reduce our footprint in the admin area, we’ve restricted Gravity PDF notices to the Dashboard, Plugins List, and Settings (General) WordPress admin pages, Gravity Forms Settings, Forms, and Entries pages, and any Gravity PDF admin pages. While it’s important you are notified if there is an issue loading Gravity PDF, you don’t need to see that while you’re managing comments or media on your website.
Like always, we’ve squashed several bugs to improve the reliability of the software. Clicking on a tooltip no longer refreshes the page, the minimum font size has been bumped from 0 to 1pt, and we self-heal important settings if the data somehow gets corrupted.
Make sure to keep your plugin up to date to avoid potential issues. You can read the full changelog below for more information.
