Complex PDFs Made Easy with GravityView

Hey friend,

I just got back from WordCamp Johor Bahru 2025 and had an amazing time speaking about the impact of community. It was wonderful to connect with old and new friends, and enjoying plenty of delicious Malaysian food – the laksa and satay was incredible! But while I was out of the office our development team were busy bees and gave the PDF for GravityView extension a shiny new feature. Let’s take a look.

Have you used GravityView’s Layout Builder feature yet? It’s like a page builder but for your Gravity Forms entries. This week I was super excited to test out the latest PDF for GravityView update, which automatically converts your Layout Builder Views into PDF documents. That’ll let you create complex row/column structures in a familiar and easy-to-use UI, and then download that layout as a PDF. And the best part is you can do all this without writing any code! Gravity PDF 6.12.5 Fixes Slow Background Notifications​

At the beginning of May we began receiving reports of delayed notification emails that included PDF attachments. At first it was thought to be an isolated problem, but as additional support tickets came in it became clear the problem affected sites running Gravity Forms 2.9.7+ that also had the PDF Background Processing feature enabled. Once the nature of the issue was understood, our development team were quick to address this bug in the Gravity PDF 6.12.5 update. See the full changelog in our release post.

Display EU VAT in Your Invoices​
