WordPress 6.8 Support and Cool PDF Image Grids

Hey friend,

How was your April? Here in the Philippines summer is heating up! I’ve been staying productive and wanted to share a couple of key updates on Gravity PDF features you might find interesting. Let’s jump right in.

Keeping the Foundation Solid

Gravity PDF has been marked fully compatible with the latest WordPress 6.8 release, so feel free to keep WordPress core up-to-date. Your PDFs will continue generating away, as per usual. 💯
The screenshot on the left shows a complete webpage where a PDF is displayed with a 3x3 grid layout of artwork images. These images were originally uploaded using the Image Hopper form field. The second screenshot on the right provides a closer, zoomed-in view of just the image grid portion, making the grid layout more prominent. An orange arrow connects these two views. Below both images is a text that reads 'Multi-column Image Grids in PDF Documents'.

On the integration side, you can now display Image Hopper uploads in a beautiful multi-column grid when using a Core or Universal PDF template. This lets you easily showcase multiple images in your documents in a much more engaging and organized way. There’s support for displaying images in a two, three, four, and five column grid structure. All it takes is a simple CSS Ready Class added to the field. 👍

Feature Spotlight

Composer Support for Developers

For our devs, just a quick reminder Gravity PDF can be installed with Composer – PHP’s package and dependency manager. Also, Gravity Forms recently started offering Composer support to some customers. We’ve been one of the early beta testers and I must say, installing and upgrading Gravity Forms add-ons with composer has been a treat!

Control Your PDF Layout with Core Booster

Here’s a quick reminder about the Field Reordering functionality in Core Booster. It’s a really powerful feature that lets you precisely control which form fields show up in your PDFs and, even better, the exact order they appear in. This means you can create really tailored and well-organized documents.

If you haven’t checked out Core Booster yet, it’s a handy Gravity PDF add-on that gives you extra customization superpowers for your PDFs, which means more control over the look and feel of your generated documents. You can find more info about this feature (and more) on our blog.
